These can include stress testing, coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA), or invasive coronary angiography. The choice of test should be guided by the patient's pre-test probability of ACS and their ability to exercise.

Management should be tailored to the underlying cause. ACS requires urgent revascularization, either through percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) or coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Non-cardiac causes may require a multidisciplinary approach involving specialists from gastroenterology, pulmonology, or musculoskeletal medicine.
