Common ECG abnormalities include arrhythmias, myocardial infarction, and electrolyte imbalances. Arrhythmias may present as irregular rhythm, abnormal rate, or absence of P waves. Myocardial infarction typically manifests as ST elevation or Q wave changes. Electrolyte imbalances can cause prominent U waves (potassium), widened QRS complex (hyperkalemia), or prolonged QT interval (hypocalcemia).
