Abdominal pain assessment can be complex due to overlapping symptoms among different conditions. Misdiagnosis can lead to unnecessary investigations, delayed treatment, and poor patient outcomes. Therefore, a systematic approach to history taking, physical examination, and judicious use of diagnostic tests is essential.
