Immunotherapy offers several advantages over traditional cancer treatments. It can be highly effective in treating certain types of cancer that have been resistant to chemotherapy and radiation. Moreover, it can provide long-term cancer control and improve the quality of life by minimizing side effects.

These include the high cost of treatment, the risk of severe immune-related adverse events, and the fact that it doesn't work for everyone. Ongoing research is focused on overcoming these limitations and expanding the use of immunotherapy in cancer treatment.
