Recent advances and guideline-based perspectives are discussed to inform clinicians about the integration of homeopathic constitutional care into comprehensive patient management, highlighting both opportunities and limitations.
Quality of life is a multifaceted construct encompassing physical, psychological, and social dimensions of health. The pursuit of optimal well-being has prompted interest in individualized approaches such as homeopathy, which posits that tailored remedies based on a patient's unique constitution can restore holistic balance. While conventional medicine excels in acute and life-threatening conditions, chronic diseases and functional disorders often challenge its limits, driving patients and practitioners to explore complementary modalities. This article reviews the scientific basis, clinical relevance, and practical integration of individualized constitutional homeopathic approaches in the context of improving QoL, specifically for doctors and healthcare professionals seeking evidence-informed guidance.
Chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, autoimmune conditions, and mental health disorders are leading contributors to global morbidity and diminished QoL. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that non-communicable diseases account for over 70% of all deaths worldwide, with millions suffering from persistent symptoms, impaired functioning, and reduced social participation.
