Abstract

While the majority of these changes resolve postpartum, emerging evidence suggests that a subset of women may experience persistent cardiovascular alterations impacting long-term quality of life. This review synthesizes current knowledge regarding the epidemiology, underlying mechanisms, risk factors, clinical features, and management strategies related to the quality of life in women recovering from pregnancy-associated cardiovascular changes. It also discusses recent advances, guideline recommendations, and clinical implications for optimizing postpartum care.
