Moreover, alcohol consumption should be avoided while on Grisefulivn medication because it increases its side effects severity including nausea and vomiting .
It's also essential to avoid grapefruit juice while on griseofulvin therapy since it affects an enzyme responsible for breaking down this drug leading to increased blood levels than expected resulting in toxicity symptoms.
