Medication experience refers to the sum of perceptions, beliefs, and behaviors patients have regarding their pharmacotherapy, profoundly influencing adherence and clinical outcomes. Therapeutic confidence, the degree to which patients and providers trust in the effectiveness and safety of treatment regimens, is equally crucial for achieving optimal QoL. In an era of increasing polypharmacy and complex therapeutics, optimizing these dimensions has become a central goal for clinicians. This article synthesizes recent literature and guideline recommendations to provide an evidence-based framework for enhancing patient experiences and outcomes through medication management.
