Therefore, a comprehensive approach encompassing lifestyle modification, pharmacological intervention, and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy is necessary.

Telemedicine, for instance, allows for remote monitoring of CPAP adherence, providing real-time feedback and enhancing patient compliance. Similarly, novel therapeutic approaches such as hypoglossal nerve stimulation offer promising results for patients intolerant to CPAP therapy.
Effective management of sleep apnea requires active patient engagement. Educating patients about the importance of adherence to therapy, lifestyle changes, and regular follow-ups can significantly improve treatment outcomes. Furthermore, integrating behavioral sleep medicine into routine care can facilitate the management of comorbid insomnia, often present in sleep apnea patients.
In conclusion, managing sleep apnea effectively in clinical practice requires a multi-faceted approach that includes understanding the complexities of the condition, adopting innovative management strategies, and fostering patient engagement.
