By improving the triage process, enhancing communication, applying lean principles, and investing in technology, EDs can streamline their operations and deliver high-quality, efficient care. Continuous evaluation and improvement are crucial to sustaining these efforts and adapting to the evolving needs of patients and the healthcare system.
