Acute treatment aims to alleviate symptoms, while preventive strategies aim to reduce the frequency and severity of attacks. Lifestyle modifications, including stress management, regular exercise, and dietary changes, play a crucial role in managing chronic headaches.
Headache disorders represent a significant clinical challenge, requiring a comprehensive understanding of their classification, pathophysiology, diagnostic approach, and treatment strategies. By enhancing our knowledge in these areas, we can improve patient outcomes and reduce the burden of this common and often debilitating condition.
