While the challenge of polypharmacy is complex, a thorough understanding of drug interactions and a proactive approach to their management can mitigate associated risks. As healthcare professionals, we must strive to balance the benefits of multiple medications against the potential for harmful interactions, always with the goal of optimizing patient outcomes.
