Patient education is also a critical component of management, particularly in chronic conditions like Addison's disease and Cushing's syndrome.
Adrenal disorders, while diverse in their presentation and management, all involve some disruption to the normal functioning of the adrenal glands. A comprehensive understanding of these disorders allows healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care, from early detection through to treatment and ongoing management.
