Neuromuscular and psychogenic dyspnea may require a multidisciplinary approach involving physiotherapy and psychotherapy.
Empowering patients with knowledge about their condition can help in the management of dyspnea. They should be educated about the importance of medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and when to seek medical attention.
Dyspnea is a complex symptom that requires a comprehensive clinical approach for effective management. A thorough understanding of the pathophysiology, meticulous clinical assessment, personalized management strategies, and patient education are key to improving patient outcomes. By adopting this approach, healthcare professionals can ensure that patients with dyspnea receive optimal care.
