Understanding and managing drug interactions in the face of polypharmacy is a complex but crucial aspect of patient care. It requires a comprehensive approach that includes understanding the mechanisms of drug interactions, identifying potential interactions, and employing strategies to manage polypharmacy. By doing so, healthcare providers can optimize patient outcomes and minimize harm.
