Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a global health concern with a high burden on healthcare systems. The management of this progressive condition requires a multifaceted approach to slow disease progression, manage complications, and optimize patient outcomes. This article explores innovative strategies in CKD management.
Advancements in genomics and proteomics have led to the identification of novel biomarkers for CKD, enhancing early detection and risk stratification. These tools allow for personalized treatment plans and proactive interventions, thereby delaying disease progression and reducing the risk of complications.
Telemedicine has emerged as a powerful tool in CKD management, especially in the era of COVID-19.
