Pharmacotherapy remains a cornerstone in ACS management. The advent of novel antiplatelet agents such as Ticagrelor has been a game-changer. These agents provide superior platelet inhibition, reducing recurrent ischemic events. The use of high-intensity statins has also shown to reduce major adverse cardiovascular events.
Early revascularization via percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) has demonstrated significant benefits in high-risk ACS patients.
