Chronic liver disease encompasses a spectrum of hepatic disorders characterized by ongoing inflammation, hepatocellular injury, and progressive fibrosis, ultimately potentially resulting in cirrhosis, hepatic decompensation, and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The prevention of disease progression is vital to reducing complications and improving outcomes. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the epidemiology, pathophysiology, risk factors, clinical features, diagnosis, treatment modalities, emerging therapies, and guideline-based recommendations for CLD, equipping clinicians with actionable insights for patient management.

Epidemiology / Disease Burden

Treatment & Management
