The clinical significance of such presentations lies in their potential to mask underlying organic pathology, overlap with functional disorders, or represent evolving disease states. This article, structured around a typical case scenario, explores the diagnostic journey and evidence-based management of a patient with persistent, shifting abdominal symptoms, providing clinicians with a framework for targeted investigation and intervention.
