Managing polypharmacy is a complex task that requires a comprehensive, patient-centered approach. By understanding the intricacies of DDIs and employing strategies such as comprehensive medication reviews and deprescribing, healthcare professionals can effectively mitigate the risks associated with polypharmacy and enhance patient safety.
